The Pass The Message to Kick Out Coronavirus campaign includes appearances from 28 world-renowned football stars, such as Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Barcelona and Argentina team captain Lionel Messi, former England strikers Gary Lineker and Michael Owen, American soccer player Carli Lloyd, and South Korean midfielder Park Ji-sung.

The new campaign promotes five key steps for people around the world to follow in order to protect their health, and the health of those around them, in line with guidance from WHO.

HandsFrequent handwashing with soap and water, or an alcohol-based solution, will kill viruses that may be on your hands.

ElbowsCoronavirus is spreading due to airborne droplets from sneezing and coughing, and people need to cover their noses and mouth with a bent elbow, or a tissue, to contain the germs.
Then, dispose of the tissue immediately and wash your hands.

FaceAvoid touching your face, eyes, nose or mouth to prevent the virus from entering your body, as hands touch too many surfaces that could be infected with Covid-19.

Once your hands are contaminated, the virus can be quickly transferred to your face so try to avoid touching it.

DistanceStay at least one metre (three feet) away from other people when outside, in an effort to avoid breathing in any possible airborne droplets from an infected person.

FeelBe aware of any symptoms, and stay at home if you become unwell with a fever, cough, or have any difficulty breathing.
